This was my first time EVER at Robinson Family Dentistry, and I had chosen to go to them based on reviews here, and everyone was absolutely 10000000% on point about how great this place and the people here are! I was having a serious dental issue and was in immense pain, and they were able to see me that very day, and Dr. Hugh was soooo wonderful and helpful and was able to not only tell AND show me what was actually going on in/with my tooth (dental technology has really advanced a lot since I was last at the dentist! 😂🤯), he was also able to give me options on what I can do regarding this whole issue and he was able to help alleviate my pain!!! 😍😍😍 I was also only charged a very nominal amount for the whole visit, as I am without any sort of insurance coverage currently. I can't even BEGIN to express my gratitude towards Robinson Family Dentistry!!! They are truly fantastic and are most definitely the kind of people who make you believe in the good of humanity again. 🥰

Dr. Robinson has been taking care of my family and myself since I retired from the Navy and relocated here in 1991. He has always been more concerned with our care than anything else (as evidenced when I attended the College of Charleston and Navy retirement did not go very far at all), but that is Dr. Hugh Robinson. Recently he brought his son Dr. Ryan in to the business and it is like being with a younger version of Hugh. There are few people that I look up to, but Dr. Hugh Robinson is one of them. I am proud to know him and consider him a trusted friend. And when I came into his office today it wasn't Mr. Davis, it was hi Pat-are you ready? I wish all dentists cared like Hugh Robinson does!

This is such a great practice! My husband and I were referred to them by friends at church. Dr. Hugh and Dr. Ryan are the best dentists we have ever had. We moved lots in the ministry so we saw many dentists. This father son team is skilled, compassionate, and dedicated to providing excellent patient care. The hygienists are wonderful too as well as Stephanie, the office manager.

Great customer service over the phone to start with and they even got me in SAME day on top of that! The dentist (Ryan) even actually did the impressions for the crowns I was wanting himself! Very personable, explained everything in great detail so I could make a smart decision on my treatment plan. All of the staff were incredibly helpful and kind from start to finish. The front desk coordinator even came to the room I was in while we were finishing up to schedule my next apt so I didn’t have to stop on my way out. I would most certainly recommend them if you are looking for a new dentist!

First let me say I don't have dental insurance so I am a cash customer. I broke a molar where there was an old silver filling leaving a sharp edge which was tearing up my tongue something terrible. Made an appointment to see what we could do about it and as usual with my luck there was an outage of the offices high speed drill compressor which occured just before my appointment. To perform the restoration properly the high speed drill was necessary so we were in a pickel. Fortunately Dr. Ryan Robinson got creative and was able to restore the tooth aliviating my discomfort and stopping the damage being done to my tongue using the low speed drill leaving the old silver filling in place. Understanding that I will probably have to have that old filling replaced in the future to complete the restoration I was only charged a simple exam fee. This is classic old school creative patient care you just don't see very often these days and very generous for only charging for an exam. Highly recommend this practice! This was my first experience with Dr. Ryan Robinson which was awesome! In the past I have always been well cared for by his Dad Dr. Hugh Robinson and now I have 2 dentist I can trust to provide me with great care.

Surely the most complete first exam I’ve ever had at a first visit with a dentist. Noted all fillings and checked gum recession levels for baseline comparison. Cleaning was gentle and painless. She got tartar off that other hygienist had missed. I’m very pleased with our new family dental practice.

I am 69 years old and have therefore been serviced by dentists and dental professionals for quite a while; with most of my visits consisting of me white-knuckled, holding desperately to the arms of the torture chair.Today I had probably my best dental cleaning experience ever at Robinson Family Dentistry. Usually when I go for a doctor’s visit there are volumes of paperwork to complete. But today when I checked in the receptionist handed me a clipboard containing a summary of facts from my last completed form for review. It was simple and over with in 2 minutes. I wish all doctors practiced this simple courtesy. When it was my time in the chair the dental hygienist came out to the waiting room and escorted me back to her work area. She sat me down and talked to me for about 5 minutes and made me feel so at ease that I completely forgot I was at the dentist’s office. She was very professional, had the deftest touch; and at one point even let me operate the sucker tube while she worked on some stubborn plaque. Then the dentist, young Dr. Robinson, came in to check my teeth. He was pleased, both with my at home dental care and the work of his hygienist. In summary: I highly recommend Robinson Family Dentistry. I have been a patient there for about 2 years. I have seen both Dr. Robinsons. They and their entire staff are top notch; and are the best dental team I have ever experienced.
I had a dental visit at Robinson Family Dentistry yesterday. I was greeted with a friendly smile by the clerk. In less than 2 minutes, I was called in by the friendly dental hygienist (Stacy). She was thorough and very professional and explained in detail what she is going to do. Dr Robinson performed the final examination and again, explained in detail the procedure that needs to be done and scheduled follow up. In the scale of 10, I would say that my dental visit experienced was 10. I highly recommend the Robinson Family Dentistry to everyone.

Robinson Family Dentistry has that small, family feel with excellent dental care and friendly staff! It’s very easy to schedule an appointment, and I only had to wait a couple days. The dental hygienist, Kelly, was a true sweetheart. Dr. Ryan was friendly as usual. He answered all my questions, and I never felt rushed. I’m not afraid of going to the dentist, but I certainly don’t “like” it, and this office makes it a breeze! I would recommend Robinson Family Dentistry to anyone.

Thought I had popcorn stuck in my tooth and was in pain. Called and he was able to see me in a few hours. But it wasn't popcorn.. its an infection messing with my nerve. Heading for a root canal Monday. Love my dentist!

I am so happy to have found Robinson Family Dentistry, and I thank all of the people who recommended them to me. They will definitely be my go to dentists in Hanahan! I had a dental emergency and was able to get an appointment very quickly. When I arrived, I was greeted at the door by Dr. Ryan Robinson who took my temperature before I sat down. There was sanitizer, and everyone was masked. Dr. Robinson was amazing! He took time with me and was very careful and gentle, concerned about my comfort. He was very personable, and I felt relaxed with him. The office is clean, the staff is friendly, and the prices are affordable. I couldn’t ask for anything more!

I arrived early for my appointment today and Dr. Hugh came out to my truck and said that he had arrived early and asked it I would like to start early. I jumped at the chance. Dr. Hugh takes all the time to need and never hurries. He explains what he is doing as he goes. Would highly recommend both he and Dr. Ryan for your dental needs.
I went today as a new patient to get a cleaning from Ms. Leigh. It was the best experience I have ever had with a dental hygienist. It has been quite sometime since I have been able to go get a cleaning and she made me feel incredibly comfortable. My teeth have also never felt this great. I love Dr. Robinson as well, he was straight to the point and gave me a care plan that was easy for me to understand and go along with. Thought I had popcorn stuck in my tooth and was in pain. Called and he was able to see me in a few hours. But it wasn't popcorn.. its an infection messing with my nerve. Heading for a root canal Monday. Love my dentist!

I am so happy to have found Robinson Family Dentistry, and I thank all of the people who recommended them to me. They will definitely be my go to dentists in Hanahan! I had a dental emergency and was able to get an appointment very quickly. When I arrived, I was greeted at the door by Dr. Ryan Robinson who took my temperature before I sat down. There was sanitizer, and everyone was masked. Dr. Robinson was amazing! He took time with me and was very careful and gentle, concerned about my comfort. He was very personable, and I felt relaxed with him. The office is clean, the staff is friendly, and the prices are affordable. I couldn’t ask for anything more!
Dr. Hugh Robinson and staff are great to work with. Everyone there is very respectful. I arrived early for my appointment today and Dr. Hugh came out to my truck and said that he had arrived early and asked it I would like to start early. I jumped at the chance. Dr. Hugh takes all the time to need and never hurries. He explains what he is doing as he goes. Would highly recommend both he and Dr. Ryan for your dental needs.
I went today as a new patient to get a cleaning from Ms. Leigh. It was the best experience I have ever had with a dental hygienist. It has been quite sometime since I have been able to go get a cleaning and she made me feel incredibly comfortable. My teeth have also never felt this great. I love Dr. Robinson as well, he was straight to the point and gave me a care plan that was easy for me to understand and go along with. I absolutely recommend this office for all your dental care needs!
